Usually, hardware and software are two major parts of a tablet. Now, in market, many tablets have the same configuration, hardware and features. But even so, their performance is much different. It is because of the software. Usually, when tablet suppliers launched a new tablet, the hardware will not be changed too much. Following that, they will launch new software to resolve the bugs existing in the unit. Today, Intel launched a new drive for the 4th generation processor of Surface Pro 3. As Intel told, the new drive will enhance the performance by 30% in some area. For playing games, performance will be enhanced by 10% at least.
Intel said, this new drive will improve the 4th generation Intel Core processor with Intel HD or Iris Pro GPU. New drive comes with CMAA and other power saving technology to extend the working time of Surface Pro 3. In some OpenCL job, performance will be enhanced by 30%. Except that, there is a new control panel with some new customized functions.
