Nvidia Shield playstation, X1 processor

During the WMC 2015, Nvidia launched its new playstation in the Game Developer Conference. This new product owns the the latest Nvidia X1 processor. This is the third products following the Nvidia play box, and Nvidia tablet.

This new Nvidia Shield product has integrated the feature of TV setup box, and playstation, Its processor is the X1, which is one 64 bit octa core processor and based on 20nm process. Its RAM is 3GB and flash memory is 16GB. It has one micro SD card slot to extend memory space. There are two USB3.0 host and HDMI output, it runs the Android operation system.

Of course, except the powerful performance, the games it runs are also very important. Nvidia has offered the Grid service. Once users subscribe the Grid service, you can play big games easily through the remote computers. At beginning, there are two services, one is 720 pixels and the other is 1080 pixels. The network speed demand is 5Mbps and 15Mbps at lowest.
